Once upon a time at UNC-Chapel Hill, Ramses, our cheerful ram mascot, had a special love – not for cheers and high-fives, but for something a bit unexpected: Jollof Rice.
Imagine Ramses, all blue and fuzzy, sniffing the air like a detective on a tasty mission. Following the delicious smell, Ramses discovered Eke Foods – the Jolly Jollof connoisseurs.
This simple and silly love story of Ramses, Jollof Rice, and Eke Foods became a legendary tale on campus. It wasn't just about a ram and his love for food – it was a celebration of tasty adventures, family kitchen fun, and the goofy joy that makes being a Tar Heel special.
Now, the twist – ADA, the founder of Eke Foods, is a Duke graduate. A rivalry twist, but Ramses believes love for Jollof can conquer rivalries. 🍽️
